Fig Vanilla Black Pepper Cocktails

Figgy Martini
2 oz gin (Plymouth or modern gin, such as Small's or Hendrick's)
1 oz Fig Vanilla Black Pepper syrup
splash of dry Vermouth
dash of bitters, preferably orange
Shake well with ice and serve in a Martini glass with a twist of lemon

 Palmer & Colton
2 oz dry Sherry
1 oz Bourbon
1 1/2 oz Fig Vanilla Black Pepper syrup
dash of bitters, preferably Angostura (about 3 drops)
a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Rub glass with outside of lemon peel and serve on the rocks

Sailor's Delight
2 oz Aquavit (North Shore works great)
1 oz Fig Vanilla Black Pepper syrup
small splash of ouzo

Figgy Manhattan
1 oz rye whisky
1 oz dry Vermouth
3/4 oz Fig Vanilla Black Pepper syrup
squeeze of fresh lemon
bitters (orange bitters work well)
Serve on the rocks with cherries

Antonina
2 oz tequila plata
1 oz vodka
1 1/2 oz Fig Vanilla Black Pepper syrup
1/2 oz fresh lime or lemon juice
generous dash of orange bitters
Shake well with ice and serve in a Margarita glass
